INCONEL Welding Electrode 182 is designed for shielded-metal-arc welding of INCONEL alloys 600 and 601, offering exceptional high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and the ability to meet stringent radiographic requirements. It is widely used for dissimilar metal welding, including INCONEL and INCOLOY alloys joined to carbon steels, stainless steels, nickel, and MONEL alloys, as well as MONEL alloys to carbon steels, nickel to stainless steels, and stainless steels to carbon steels. These electrodes ensure excellent operability for groove and fillet welding in the downhand position, while smaller diameter electrodes are suitable for all-position welding. The electrode operates with direct current and electrode positive polarity, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial applications.
